Linnea Quigley was born in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Dorothy and W. Heath Quigley, a chiropractor and psychologist. [1] She moved to Los Angeles, California in the late 1970s to pursue her dreams of acting. She quickly established herself in the arena of independent films and appeared in almost one hundred feature films.
[edit] Career
Linnea Quigley is perhaps most famous for her role in The Return of the Living Dead. She also starred in dozens of other horror films. Many of her roles involved nudity.
Quigley is the author of two books about her career as a B-movie actress, Chainsaw and I'm Screaming as Fast as I Can. She is also a campaigner for PETA.[citation needed]
In the internet game Kingdom of Loathing, the holiday of Halloween is represented by "Linnea, the Scream Queen", who quotes several of Quigley's lines from her movies.
