LinkScan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

LinkScan is a computer program that checks websites for broken hyperlinks and other problems. It was developed by Electronic Software Publishing Corporation (Elsop) in 1996 and first released in January of 1997. LinkScan also does HTML validation and creates two types of Site Map. Because LinkScan is written in the perl programming language, it operates across multiple operating system platforms. It operates on all Windows, Unix, Linux and Mac OS X systems.
