The airline was established and started operations in 1982. It is part of a full service safari company with its own lodges, camps, guides, aircraft and sailing vessels. It is owned by Peter Bottome (President) (97%) and Juan Carlos Marquez (General Manager) (3%). It has 160 employees (at March 2007).[1]
