Line em Up is a pricing game on the American television game show The Price Is Right. Debuting on March 10, 1998, it is played for a car plus three additional prizes - a prize worth between $10 and $98, and two worth between $300 and $1,000. The game was created by production assistant Kathy Greco. [1]
[edit] Game Play
The contestant is shown a game board which displays the first and last digits in the price of the car. Between these digits are the three prices of the other prizes, which contain the other three digits in the price of the car. The contestant must slide the prices so that the digits in the price of the car line up vertically. The first and third prizes are always three-digit prizes, while the second is a two-digit prize.
The contestant is told how many of the chosen digits they have correct. If they have all three correct, they win the car and the small prizes. Otherwise, they are given one opportunity to make changes without being told which digits are incorrect. If the price is not correct the second time, the game is lost.
