Line M3 - Milan Subway (Metropolitana di Milano)

The Line 3 (Ita: Linea Tre) was built starting in 1986 for the 1990 World Cup of Football. The Line 3 is also called Linea Gialla ("Yellow Line"). Today it connects the South-Eastern suburb of San Donato Milanese to the city centre, then continues to the North-Western district.
Today the Line 3 is 13.0 km long with 17 stations. An additional 4.0 km with 4 stations are currently under construction. Work will be finished by the end of 2007/early 2008.
