Line 10 of the Beijing Subway is an underground line which has been under construction since March 2004.
24.55 km in length, one end of the line is at Huoqiying in north west Beijing. From here, the line runs eastward through northern Beijing, passing through Zhichunlu, the Olympic venues to the north of the city, before turning south and following the line of the eastern 3rd Ring Road through the heartland of the Beijing CBD as far as Jinsong.
It will link with the projected Line 4, the Line 13, Line 5 and Line 1. It will also link with the Olympic branch line. Line 10 is tentatively scheduled to go into operation on June 30, 2008.
