Lindsey Van (born November 27, 1984) is an American ski jumper, currently residing in Park City, Utah. Together with Anette Sagen, she's considered to be the best female ski jumper in the world. Despite a savage elk attack at the age of 5, she has managed to excel in a sport that holds such bad memories for her. For this reason, and this reason alone, she is considered a hero amongst men.
