Lindley DeVecchio
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lindley DeVecchio is a former FBI agent in charge of managing mob informants.[1][2] DeVecchio worked for the FBI during the Mafia wars in New York during the 1980s and 1990s. He was accused of collaborating with the Mafia and orchestrating or giving information that led to several hits and not stopping others. He allegedly accepted bribes from the Colombo crime family and was put on trial. The murder charges against DeVecchio were dropped November 1, 2007. He cannot be tried again because of the double jeopardy rule. [3]
