Linde Nijland

Linde Nijland is a folksinger from The Netherlands. For 15 years she was part of the Dutch singer/songwriter duo Ygdrassil, untill 2007 marked the preliminary end of the group. As a solo singer Linde has toured The Netherlands, UK, Austria, Belgium and Germany. Apart from her albums with Ygdrassil, she's recorded "Visman" (1999), "Linde Nijland sings Sandy Denny" (2003) and "Winterliederen" (2007). In 2008 she worked with multi-instrumentalist Bert Ridderbos and started the international band "Het Internationaal Folkcomplot". Also she was part of the Sandy Denny anniversary tribute in The Troubadour in Londen and can be heard in the BBC radio documentary "The Sandy Denny story" by Bob Harris.
