Linda Bement

Linda Bement, born Linda Jeanne Bement (born c. 1942), was the second Miss Utah USA to win the Miss USA crown and the first and only Miss Utah USA to win Miss Universe.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Linda Bement was the third Miss USA to win the Miss Universe title. The 1960 pageant was also the first Miss Universe pageant to be televised nation-wide.
In 1962, she married the Panamanian-born future U.S. Racing Hall of Fame Thoroughbred racing jockey Manuel Ycaza. The couple had two children before they divorced in November of 1969.
