Lincoln Lutheran is a middle school and high school in Lincoln, NE where Christ is the center.
Lincoln Lutheran began as a Jr. High in the 1960s and in 1995 the tenth grade was added, followed by the eleventh grade in 1996 and the twelfth grade in the fall of 1997. 1998 marked the high school's first graduating class. The sixth grade was added in 2005 to make a full middle school.

[edit] Spiritual Aspects
This school believes, teaches, and confesses the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The power of God and His gospel message is the central focus of Lincoln Lutheran. Through classes, chapels, activities and personal relationships, an effort is made to interweave the message of the Bible into the lives of students.
[edit] Religion Classes
As students progress through Lincoln Lutheran they have the opportunity to take different religion classes. In addition, regular classes often begin or end with prayers/devotions.

The twice weekly chapels are a way for students to participate in and lead worship in the school community. Typically, the first chapel of the week is led by a faculty member, and the second chapel of the week is led by a group of students.

The Lincoln Lutheran attempts to continue the faith life all week; not just Sundays. They stress showing your Christianity in all of the activities you are associated with, whether on the sports field or in the concert hall. The athletes also lead chapels for local Lutheran elementary schools. The musicians bring God's word to others through music.

At Lincoln Lutheran the common Christian bond makes it possible to share relationships that tend to be more difficult to foster in other environments. Relationships between students, between students and teachers, and between parents and teachers have a foundation of the knowledge that they are all fellow members of Christ.

Lincoln Lutheran provides a challenging and comprehensive curriculum for all students in grades 6-12. They are is accredited by the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) and exceed NDE established standards. Their educators integrate Christian faith and values in all areas of the curriculum. Students also have the opportunity to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through our Religion curriculum as they study scripture and Christian Doctrine.
Over the past five years, the students have scored higher on the ACT than national and state averages. Lincoln Lutheran has one of the highest percentages of students taking the ACT in the state of Nebraska. All Freshmen and Juniors can take the John Baylor Test Prep Class at no cost to the family. All seniors are required to perform community service hours for graduation.

Lincoln Lutheran offers a wide variety of activities to meet the interests of the students. Their commitment is to help students grow in both leadership and teamwork skills. Students have the opportunity to participate in areas of specific interest as well as leadership roles in those areas.
In addition to many sports, Lincoln Lutheran has a developed music program both with both vocal and instrumental offerings. Opportunities also exist in a variety of other activities such as Speech, Drama, Business, FCA and many other extracurricular clubs and programs.
