Lincoln High School academics are divided into the following departments: Career Communications, Computer Engineering, Environmental and Spatial Technologies, English, Family & Consumer Science, Fine Arts, Foreign Language (Spanish and French), Health, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Vocational Agriculture, and Vocational Business.
Lincoln offers Advanced Placement (AP) and Pre-AP courses in English, Biology, United States History, Environmental Science, and Psychology.
Lincoln High school is also a member of the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP), a program that seeks to "close achievement gaps and ensure a quality educational opportunity for all students."

Lincoln High School competes in the following sports: football, boys and girls basketball, track, cross country, cheerleading, pom squad, baseball, softball, golf, bowling, and weight lifting. Jonathan Johnson recently became the head coach of the High School football team, after coaching at Pulaski Robinson.
The Lincoln High School Sr. High Baseball Team won conference championship in 2007-2008, the first time in 25 years. The team was led by coach Jonathan Johnson.
The Lincoln High School Sr. High Dance Team won overall Regional Champs in 2007-2008 at Regionals and placed 3rd in State at competition.
The Lincoln High School Sr. High Cheerleaders were State Champions in the 2006-2007 school year in the 1-3A Small Co-ed division. They were also awarded the Grand Champion title.

The following student clubs are active in Lincoln High School: Academic Competition in Education (ACE), Art Club,National FFA Organization, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Gifted and Talented (GT), Future Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes(FCA), Marching and Concert Band, Educational Talent Search (ETS), Arvest Junior Bank Board, and Beta Club.
The Lincoln High School Band is under the direction of Jerromy Falk.
The FFA chapter at Lincoln won the following state championships in 2006: including Poultry, Food Science, Prepared Speaking, and Creed. In 2007 the Lincoln FFA Food Science and Technology team competed at Nationals winning 3rd place.
