It is believed that the use of this screenshot qualifies as fair use in the article The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening because:

• Nintendo has not released any such images into the public domain, and as a screenshot of a game, a replacement image could not be created that would adequately provide the same information
• The image is web-resolution and reduced from the original resolution
• The use of this image neither detracts from the game nor inhibits its salability in any way
• The image is being used solely for informative purposes, as it serves to illustrate an aspect of the game (general game play)
