[edit] Name change

On 2 Feburary 2002 the Northern Province requested that its name be changed to Limpopo and only on 11 June 2003 did the Minister of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology accept the names Limpopo and Polokwane.--Jcw69 09:12, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Origin of the name

Does anyone know where the name Limpopo comes from? What does it mean? Joziboy 25 March 2006, 16:23 (UTC)

[edit] Fruit material
