[edit] AKEL and administration of Limassol
What is with all the AKEL writings? What that has to do with the administration of the Limassol? Totally irrelevant IMHO. Please revise, it gives the impression that Limassol is run by AKEL, which is far from reality! Write about the other municipalities and the suburbs of Limassol, how the city is run, about municipal elections, etc.

Arrival of Germany?
there was no "Germany" at that time. The nation of Germany was set up after the German unification by Prussia and Bismarck
[edit] Tsirion Stadium=
spelt with a "n" tsirion not tsirio
[edit] Merge tag
I'm not sure I see how Limassol Old Port can be expanded beyond a stub. If it can, great! If not, it should get merged into Limassol Kathy A. 22:02, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- I am working on a new article on the new port (which is a bit longer) and i think the old and the new port should be merged into "Limassol Ports" or something. Maybe even into "Ports of Cyprus" once the rest get a writeup StephP 11:57, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] twinned with Birmingham
ISTR that Limassol is twinned with Birmingham; I'll check when I'm back out there. Apepper 19:27, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Museums? Where ?
Museums ? Limassol is great place but " a great number of museums and archaeological sites" ? Err, NO : I count ONE museum and ONE site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pimmscyp (talk • contribs) 07:08, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Limassol Logo.png
Image:Limassol Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
