Limburg Science Park
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Limburg Science Park is a business incubator and science park located in Diepenbeek (Belgium) on the campus of Hasselt University. The organisation was founded in 1989 at the initiative of the University Hasselt, the Board of the Provincial Government and the Regional Development Society Limburg. In 1992 the incubator was founded with 10 spaces for laboratories and 8 offices to provide an infrastructure for starting companies active in the high-tech field. This was completed with the Passage Building, which is a complete building for hire, for larger enterprises which are either new or have outgrown the incubator.
