Limacia clavigera is a sea slug (order Nudibranchia). It is commonly found in sublittoral algae belts along the Atlantic coast of Europe, including the British Isles, and from Norway to the Mediterranean. It can reach a length up to about 20 millimeters. Its usual food is the encrusting bryozoan (or sea mat) Electra pilosa.
