Lim Boon Heng

Lim Boon Heng (林文興, born November 18, 1947) is the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and a member of the Cabinet of Singapore. He is a Member of Parliament representing Jurong GRC. He is also the Chairman of the People's Action Party and until January 31, 2006, Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress.He was educated at both montfort junior and montfort secondary school.
According to ChannelNews Asia, Lim Boon Heng's achievements were his efforts in pushing for a flexible wage system and convincing workers of the necessity for the reductions in the employers' contribution to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) in the past [1].
