Lillian, Alabama

Lillian is an unincorporated community in eastern Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. Lillian sits on the north shore of Perdido Bay. It is the second-largest organized unincorporated community in Baldwin County.[citation needed] As of March,12, 2006,the Mobile Register reported that the community is trying to incorporate itself to stop it from being annexed by the city of Orange Beach, the third fastest growing in Baldwin County, Alabama and first in annexing communities around it.[citation needed] The community was named for Lillian Kee, the daughter of William Thomas Kee, postmaster.[citation needed]
