From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Lika cap (Serbo-Croatian Latin: Lička kapa, Serbian Cyrillic: личкa кapa) is a traditional cap used together with the folk attire of the Lika region in Croatia. The Serb and Croat Hajduks of Lika is said to have used this cap when fighting the Turks. The Serbs have the Serbian cross or the Serbian eagle on the top, the Croats have the Croat coat of arms or the Šahovnica as it is called.
