User:Lighthead/The will and magic

Magic is as easy to accomplish as having what you want to accomplish in line with your will. A lot of pundits would say well that's not true because I'd like to fly but that doesn't mean it's happening. My answer to this is that if you examine your heart, your will is not in line with you flying; but in being a normal human being. I know that with me I'd maybe like to fly but I tend to get caught up in the desire of day to day existence.
[edit] Psychology as it relates to magic
By far the easiest type of magic to accomplish is the kind that relates to other people. This could be because we're used to dealing with people and when your dealing with magic as it relates to other people it takes on a suggestive aspect (that is one of suggestion, or what is commonly known as stage hypnosis). Magic that deals with people takes on an impressive aspect when it's accomplished from a long distance away. That's when it becomes more unnatural and truly magical and not so much psychological. But always when attempting magic with people, be aware that the result can be seen from many viewpoints. In many instances the result can be seen as both an accomplishment and a neutral event. To some extent this may be the case even with magic that does not have anything to do, necessarily, with people.
[edit] Unnatural results as it relates to magic
I may be criticized by fundamentalist Christians for saying this, but it has been documented in the bible that Jesus Christ practiced white magic and even gray magic (for example when he cursed the fig tree). Jesus after cursing the fig tree was asked by his disciples as to how he did that and said that if you have faith even as large as a mustard seed (which if you've ever seen a mustard seed is quite small; it's just a small pellet) that you can say to this mountain go into the sea and it will put itself into the sea.
This is exactly what I'm talking about from an unlikely source of magical instruction, the Bible. I'd like to close by saying to just imagine how much of something unnatural we could accomplish if we filled our whole bodies with faith; it would be beyond miraculous.
