Talk:Liggins Institute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Don't delete! I was just trying to start a stub - don't have time to write an enormous article just yet. I've worked at the liggins in the past, but no longer have any association with them. They are a world class institution and do a lot of good work - google the name if you want. They invented things like the cool-cap for perinatal brain injury, and how childhood diet affects likelyhood of diabetes etc. Liggins has nothing to gain from this being on the internet/wikipedia, but people who are interested in studying post-graduate at auckland uni have a lot to gain from it, especially once this article grows and says more about the liggins than is written on it's home page. If it'd help, delete the external link bit. Fasdewx (talk) 07:05, 23 January 2008 (UTC) Lee

I removed the Speedily Deletion tag from the page as I did not feel it was appropriate. However, be mindful that the user who originally tagged it may follow up with an WP:AfD. I added a stub tag indicating that this article should be expanded. Cheers! Wisdom89 (talk) 07:37, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
