[edit] Notable foreign players

Define notable. There are a lot of names I never heard of and I live in Romania. Maybe you should create a "List of foreign players in Romania" like this one from RomanianSoccer: [1].Edgar (talk) 08:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dinamo/Ciocanul

Romanian football statisticians don't consider Ciocanul's two seasons as part of Dinamo's all-time history. See the 1932 - 2006 all-time table (as computed by Razvan Toma) on RSSSF -> [2]

Ciocanul Bucuresti is already mentioned on Dinamo's wiki page - no need to alter the table here.

[edit] Requested move

The result of the proposal was move. JPG-GR (talk) 16:04, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Liga IRomanian Liga — There is two many 1. Liga and XXX Liga, The full name of the Romanian highest division is Liga I Bürger, it may be confused with Soproni Liga, Corgoň Liga, Gambrinus liga, Swiss 1. Liga and various Prva Liga. Use Romanian Liga per Portuguese Liga case. —Matthew_hk tc 06:36, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Support per nom BanRay 11:42, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose because: this is the official name of the league and like in case of France Premier League, Ligue 1, this name should be used. In the worst case it should be moved to this name: Liga Întâi, which this is the Romanian spelling for the league's name.GabinhoPalavras 01:58, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose because: The Portuguese Liga is not a good example. Its name is not Primeira Liga, just Liga. Thus the need for 'Portuguese'. As Gabinho already said, this is the official name.--Edgar (talk) 06:33, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose - This is the only league that is named "Liga I", so it is not ambiguous to title this article "Liga I". - MTC (talk) 06:31, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Although this RM was approved, no move had taken place for three days, so I moved it myself. – PeeJay 17:21, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Why was the result to move? There were 2 good reasons given as to why this shouldn't have been moved versus one flawed reason why it should, it shouldn't have been moved. - MTC (talk) 17:36, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Using the same principle, please move La Liga to Spanish Liga. Thanks! --Edgar (talk) 06:41, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
