The Ligue savoisienne is a separatist party in France that seeks the independence of Savoy. The party was founded by Jean de Pingon in 1995. In the French presidential election, 2007, the party supported the candidacy of Jean-Philippe Allenbach. After Allenbach failed to win 500 endorsements, the party called on supporters to abstain or spoil their ballot. Ahead of the June 10 and 17 2007 general election, the party has nominated 8 candidates.
