"Lights and Sounds" is the title track and lead single from the album of the same name by the pop punk band Yellowcard. The music video is a performance-only video, in which the band play in a dark room with thin lights.
The song peaked at #50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #42 on the Pop 100. It also reached #4 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and #26 on the Hot Digital chart.[citation needed]

The song made its live debut on Comedy Central's Last Laugh 2005. Lights and Sounds was featured on a Verizon Wireless Vcast commercial around the time of the album's release. The song was also featured in the video game Burnout Revenge and won the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards for Best Song. It was also featured on a 2006 ESPN Radio commercial for the seasonal Sunday Night Baseball program.
The video was the first to feature Ryan Mendez as the band's lead guitarist.
