Lights Out is a 2000 (see 2000 in music) album released on Cash Money Records by New Orleans rapper Lil' Wayne. On the track "Everything", he dedicates the song to his late stepfather Reginald "Rabbit" McDonald.
One notable aspect is that it is the first album where Wayne uses vulgar language. Especially memorable is the intro, "...and I saw the whole fuckin' thing!" It was also released in an edited version removing most language and sexual content. However, drug references are still present. The cursing in the intro is backmasked. The album was certified Gold on June 12, 2001 by the RIAA.[1]
