The Lightning Car Company is a British sports car developer, based in Peterborough, focused on the development and production of high performance electric sports cars. The firm's first product, the eponymous Lightning GT, is based on a pre-existing internal-combustion vehicle made by Ronart Cars. At present, the GT is still in the development phase, and is expected to go into production in 2008. Dan Says it should be noted the car manufacturer is building other cars.
