Lighthouse Cove, Ontario

Lighthouse Cove (population 200) is a lakeside community located at the easternmost edge of the town of Lakeshore in Essex County, Ontario, Canada on Lake St. Clair. The Cove is the site of the second oldest lighthouse in the Province of Ontario, the Thames River Lighthouse. It was built in 1818 as a result of the War of 1812 between the United Kingdom and the United States. All properties within Lighthouse Cove have water frontage, either on a series of canals or on the lake.

Lighthouse Cove is home of the Thames River Yacht Club which hosts the annual TRY-SEA Regatta. TRYC is a member of the Inter-Lake Yachting association and welcomes visiting boaters from other member yacht clubs. www.thamesriveryachtclub.org
