The name Light Rapid Transit is used by the following specific light rail systems, either as an official name or otherwise:
- Light Rapid Transit (LRT) in Singapore, the intra-housing-town automated people mover systems that take residents to and from the nearest Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) metro stations.
- The proposed Evergreen Line (Vancouver, BC) Light Rapid Transit extension in British Columbia
- The abandoned Light Rapid Transit (Hampshire) proposal in Hampshire, running between Fareham, Gosport and Portsmouth in England, the United Kingdom. [1]
