Light Weight is a developer of video games with samurai themes, such as the Bushido Blade series and the Kengo series. In April 1999 Genki acquired a 40% stake in the company. In March 2001 Genki acquired 100% stake in the company.
LightWeight has so far developed five games for the PlayStation 2, one for the Xbox, and an upcoming one for the Nintendo DS. LightWeight's games tend to be released in Japan only.
