Liga Leumit 1959-60

Liga Leumit was the top division of football in Israel. The 1959-60 season had Hapoel Petah Tikva win their second consecutive title, while Hapoel Ramat Gan was relegated. It took place from September 1959 to June 1960. The league ran with 12 clubs; 11 from previous season and newcomers Bnei Yehuda in their first appearance in the premier league.

The league used two points for a win and one for a draw. One team was relegated and one was promoted.
