Liga Leumit 1958-59

Liga Leumit was the top division of football in Israel. The 1958-59 season had Hapoel Petah Tikva win their first title in history, while Hapoel Kfar Saba who finished last-placed in the previous seasons as well, was relegated.
It took place from November 1958 to May 1959. The league ran with 12 clubs; all 12 of previous season.

The league used two points for a win and one for a draw. One team was relegated and one was promoted.
