Liga Alef 1953-54

The 1953-54 season was the second edition of Liga Alef, and the last in which it was Israel's top division; the following season it was replaced by Liga Leumit and became the country's second tier. The league was contested by 12 clubs, and was won by Maccabi Tel Aviv. No teams were relegated as the league was expanded to 14 teams the following season. The league was played with two points for a win and one for a draw.
