Re: parsol thing

It's a line from Citizen Kane, specifically the scene where Thompson goes to interview Mr. Bernstein, who starts talking about memory. --Rubber cat 06:34, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

quilt photo

Hi, I was wondering what happened to your quilt photo? The link is still there, but there is no picture showing up... Quilt VikÞor | Talk 03:36, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm... wierd. seems to be a browser specific glitch... shows up in Safari but not Camino... Beautiful quilt BTW. Made by someone you know? VikÞor | Talk 04:12, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Skateboarding (Third Generation) edit

Hey, just wondering, why did you cut the text about street skating from the third generation section of the skateboarding article? It's certainly flawed, and certainly unsourced (like much of the article), but something needs to go there to explain the evolution of street skating in the 80's. I put a section about this on the talk page if you want to discuss, or leave a note on my talk page. Thanks. Jackhorkheimer 07:38, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Ethnic Cleansing

Hello, I wanted to complain about it because it is a shocking game which goes agaisnt evrybody's morals. Not only is it offensive, it is poorly made, making even more a pathetic excuse to go agaisnt black people and Jewish people. Racism is a terrible, terrible part of human nature which is worng, so I'm sorry if this sounds a bit rude, but I, as a citizen of the worls, have a rite to complain about this pointless game. Thanks.--Gerrado 22:43, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Change to UPS user box

Liface,

Thanks for the suggestion. I just added "the" into the UofPStudent user box. - Pingveno 20:57, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Hey

Hey, did you ever get the skateboarding project into the stellarsphere? If you ever need help with blocks or other admin stuff for violators of CKY (or any) pages just let me know... Deizio talk 00:17, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

GAAP

I am a CPA and I think that the EIFT is important becasue it played such an integral part in the Enron scandal when debt was placed in special purpose entities, SPEs, that were named for Star War characters. How long have you been a CPA. It is 23 years for me. What reason would you delete the EITF. Do you understan GAAP? I think that anybody wondering about GAAP, which would probably be non-CPAs, should know this little-known fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thething88 (talkcontribs)

Pioneer Square help

Can you please, please help with what's going on at Pioneer Courthouse Square? I am sick and tired of dealing with it myself. I'm supposed to be on vacation here. Thanks! --Makaristos 21:33, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Wikiproject

Hey, whatever happened to that WikiProject about Skateboarding? It seemed pretty alright. It's good to see that you grouped much of skateboarding articles into a subpage so I can work on those.--Ahmed 15:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Skateboarding

I'll join the skateboarding project if I don't get banned here soon. Doctor Lyles Carlton III 04:26, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Donvito.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Donvito.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Ultimate

Thanks for the heads-up on the Ultimate team AfDs... it's almost like we're going backwards with Ultimate content on Wikipedia these days... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Fantusta (talkcontribs) 01:52, 10 February 2007 (UTC).

IASC page and war against blanks

I made a new article for International Association of Skateboard Companies and included the war it wages on blank skateboards. I would like you to review it and it would be a great oppurtunity to cover a first current event in skateboarding in the best way possible.--KoRnholio8 21:04, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

SA Discussion was not finished

Liface, I appreciate your vigilance on the SA page, but your edit was premature, as the discussion had reached no collective agreement.

Here's a link to the discussion for your records. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Something_Awful#Criticism

Take care. -Oxxiox 20:21, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually, sources have to be deemed as reliable first, and then controversial material may be included. It would be silly to add controversial/negative material first and then decide on its reliability. --Wafulz 22:30, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Methodist Colleges tp box

I notice you participated in a prior discussion on the Template talk page for Methodist Colleges. I just posted this on the talk page and hope that you could return.

I discovered two sources listing Methodist colleges and universities the first is the International Association of Methodist-related Schools, Colleges, and Universities (IAMSCU) founded in 1991 which describes its members as Methodist-related schools, colleges, and universities and those with a Methodist tradition from throughout the world. the other is the directory of untied methodist related colleges, from The Untied Methodist Church in the US. Both are from the General Board of Higher Education websites:

From these sources this template seems pretty accurate, however it is missing several universities

Both the University of Puget Sound and Duke University are listed and the last elections for board of Directors are January 25, 2007 see here so this list seems pretty up to date, any objections to adding them back to the template?

- thank you Astuishin 18:00, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

SA

What's pimpulatin. People are reverting my edits to the Kyanka page and the SA page, I guess because they have preconcieved notions about me. Can you do me a favor and revert to my edits? --Keep It Real 01:57, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Image:Markgonzalesjpg.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Markgonzalesjpg.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yonatan talk 23:14, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
