[edit] Rationale for shorter entry

I removed a paragraph that was added in good faith. That paragraph contained some useful exposition on this entry, but the entry was too long for an entry on a pejorative term used by a few people. The entry does include 4 citations and three external links, so anybody who wants to learn more about this topic can easily find more information. It should be noted that this entry has been tagged as a "low importance philosophy" article, so it's not far removed from being a non-notable article. I would prefer that this article be deleted, but I can compromise if the article is kept short. Chuck0 (talk) 04:05, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm happy enough to accept this strategy. The added paragraph was only a passing mention of the term and of dubious quality. I will add additional content to the article only if I can find a comprehensive, even-handed and impartial account of the term that adds encyclopediac value. скоморохъ 04:13, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
