Talk:Life. Be in it.

I am in favour of presenting all sides of interest in this subject. I do believe that there is much good done by the programme but there are unfortunate side-effects caused by well-meaning people who don't think before they speak. Don't delete just because you don't agree. Roligpolig 22:56, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Normist
Are you seriously suggesting that people named norm have been descriminated against because of life be in it? i'm going to remove this statement until you can source your claim. Trottsky 19:00, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

I know that people named Norm have been discriminated against because of life be in it through my own personal experience. It has forced me to ask people not to refer to me as Norm. If you delete it again I'll report you for vandalism. Roligpolig 04:11, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

I removed the line: "One unfortunate side-effect has been the increase in discrimination against overweight and obese people despite the fact that discrimination of any kind is illegal in Australia." for two reasons:
- the claim of increased discrimination is unsubstantiated since July 2007.
- the last bit is false. Only discrimination based on certain criteria is illegal (see Anti-Discrimination Act 1977).

[edit] America
The program was also used in America, see here: http://www.lib.niu.edu/ipo/1983/ip830709.html. It should probably be mentioned in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.45.104.247 (talk) 23:53, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
