Life planning

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Life Planning is a special discipline that has emerged within the financial planning industry. Financial planners have come to realize that money touches all areas of a person's life. Often, closely-held dreams and emotions crop up during the financial planning process. As a result, training organizations that aim to help financial planners deal with a potentially volatile and/or tender landscape have emerged.

In the US, leading training organizations include: Money Quotient (http://www.moneyquotient.org), Galvanic Communications (http://www.galvaniccommunications.com), Financial Life Planning Institute (http://www.flpinc.com), and Kinder Institute of Life Planning (http://www.kinderinstitute.com).

In CANADA: Life Planning Matters - (http://www.lifeplanningmatters.com) (http://blog.lifeplanningmatters.com)
