Life of TimmY is a webcomic by Timothy Johnson, known online as Timmy.J. The comic follows Timmy as well as some of his closest friends. As well as some of the cast, some of the events in the comic are based upon real events in Timmy's life, although normally twisted to the point where they hold very little of the original reality.

[edit] Life of TimmY (version 1)
The original Life of TimmY spanned 177 pages, and could formerly be found on the official website, http://www.lifeoftimmy.com , which has now been taken down. The original cast included TimmY, the author and main character depicted as a retard; Nathan, his best friend who was constantly accused of homosexuality (although TimmY forced him to crossdress for some time, there was no proof he was gay); Zombie, a (fomerly) dead friend of TimmY's; and female cast members Hay, Johan, Nubs, and Shelly (the latter two having been killed off towards the series climax.) The comic had a "roundish" looking style.
After personal events in Timmy's life the comic was put on hold and rumoured to have shut down for good. This was proven to be false on October 27, 2006; with the launching of the reincarnation.
[edit] The NEW Life of TimmY
The comic was relaunched with a slightly updated title, The NEW Life of TimmY. The art style changed slightly (the only noticeable difference being the addition of legs to the character designs.) Hosted on Drunk Duck, the reincarnation of Life Of TimmY has (at the point this was last edited) been ran for a little under a year, and pulled in over 5000 separate viewers thanks to almost daily updates and the backing of a large community based in Drunk Duck's main site. However, the comic shut down (again, presumibly for good) on April 17, 2007; after the actual death of Timothy's friend Shelly made it seem harsh to conclude the final storyline (which was supposed to end with Shelly's character returning as a zombie.)
Life of TimmY relaunched again on September 9th, 2007.
[edit] Life of TimmY (version 2)
Life of TimmY was relaunched, again on DrunkDuck, with a more geometric artstyle. While Timothy promised the comic would become a collaboration between himself and Nathan and become a comic-book style venture, this was not followed up with (mainly because Nathan was moving to America.) Instead, the comic-strip style was re-instated (though it never got the chance to leave), with Timothy promising that the new version would not contain zombies.
The comic did not end where the last one left off (for the obvious reasons), but began with Nathan announcing his moving to America. As of September 9th, there are only three strips.
