"Life's a Gamble", released in January 2006, is the second single from the album, I Do What I Do, by rapper/producer Kev Brown. In the song, Brown discusses the difficulties he faces as an underground artist but reaffirms his faith in his choice of career. The remix of said song features Brown's protégé, Kaimbr, and completely new lyrics, in which Brown references Marvin Gaye and Rakim. The second song on side A is "Keep On", which features Brown's frequent collaborative partner, Cy Young. The pair swap verses, à la EPMD, over a gritty-sounding guitar and kalimba-based beat.
