LIFE International is founded in 1990 and a year later was registered charity in UK. The founder of LIFE is Revd Jack Jones. LIFE International is dedicated to offer welfare and comfort to all seafarers of all nations of whatever race, color or creed; to demonstrate a sincere respect for the personal values and beliefs. Trough Chaplains and volunteers LIFE reach out the seafarers in the ports by visiting them onboard ships and offering them welcome and support. All the LIFE International Centers are always open and all the seafarers can just relax and spend time away from ship, telephone and e-mail home, and find help for their problems. LIFE International co-operates with persons and organizations, Christian or non-Christian, that work for the welfare of seafarers. LIFE International is a member of: INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN MARITIME ASSOCIATION and INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE ON SEAFARERS' WELFARE
