"Lies" is a song by The Rolling Stones from their 1978 album Some Girls. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
Recorded from October through December 1977, "Lies" was a fast paced rocker.
The song talks about a man being fed up with his girlfriend's lying and cheating.
The track (like a good majority of the album) featured the five core Stones members and Jagger, Richards and Ron Wood sharing electric guitar duties.
The track was featured on WKRP in Cincinnati on the episode "Pilot: Part Two".
