Liege Lord Formed by Matt Vinci, Anthony Truglio and Frank Cortese legendary American speed/power metal band, active in the 1980s and considered to be one of the true pioneers of the genre. Reaching cult status in the Metal world with their three releases, the band featured Joe Comeau, who would later go on to play with thrash metal bands Overkill and Annihilator. Guitarist Anthony Truglio went on to play in the band Gandhi with Page Hamilton Helmet. and also played in the new version of Helmet. Guitarist Paul Nelson received a Grammy nomination as guitarist and song writer with Johnny Winter on Virgin/EMI, and he reached Billboard chart's top 200 with the band Halifax. Nelson did guitar work for WWE (then WWF) on nationally broadcast television specials.
