"Lied vom Scheitern" [Song about failing] is a song by Die Ärzte. It's the second track and the second single from their 2007 album Jazz ist anders. The song is about trying to be someone else and failing at it.

Seemingly, Farin has kidnapped Rod and Bela. Rod has a bomb tied around his waist; both are tied up and their mouths are covered with tape. Farin puts a gun on the table between Rod and Bela, switches the bomb's timer on and leaves. Bela manages to get hold of a broom and tries to switch off the bomb's timer with this. Accidentally he pushes the wrong button and they lose one minute. He then falls down and rubs the tape off of his mouth. He then grabs the gun with his mouth and throws it in his hands. He shoots behind him to disable the bomb, but misses and instead the bullet grazes Rod's cheek and smashes the mirror behind Rod. Bela tries several times shooting behind his back, but fails. As only 8 seconds is left, he grabs a cartridge case from the ground with his mouth, spits it out and hits the right button at 00:01. Farin comes down clapping, unties Bela and then everything is repeated, only now it's up to Farin to disarm the bomb, and the item placed on the table by Bela is a chainsaw.
