Lido Key
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lido Key is a barrier island of the coast of Sarasota, Florida in the United States. The island has beautiful sandy beaches that face the Gulf of Mexico. The island has a seasonal nightclub scene, as well as a park called "South Lido Park", which has a beach and a woodland trail. The island is connected to the mainland by John Ringling Causeway. Although this beach is known for the usual Florida sun worshipers, the conservative city passed a law against thongs on the beach.
