librsvg is a open source SVG rendering library written as part of the GNOME project. It is licensed under the LGPL licence.
Librsvg uses Cairo as primary backend since version 2.13.0.
Librsvg is developed for and used by the GNOME desktop, but it is also included in many other software applications to enable support for SVG-format scalable graphics. Wikipedia uses it to render SVG images.
