This image is a screen capture of Electoral advertising shown on Australian free-to-air and pay TV in 2004 by the Liberal Party of Australia indicating, despite five interest rate rises since the 2004 federal election, the commitment of a Howard Liberal government to "keep interest rates at record lows". In response, Mr Howard stated[1] "[Rudd] can scour every transcript, and I will make them available, of every interview that I gave during that election campaign and he will find no such commitment."
