Laine Haid isn't the oldest movie star, that honor goes to Haid's fellow European Tonio Selwart, a Bavarian actor who died on November 2, 2002 at age 106!! Although Haid made more film appearences than Selwart, he beat her out in the age category.-Longevitymonger

So who's able and willing to write about Tonio Selwart? --KF 21:08 Apr 14, 2003 (UTC)

Can we cut down the size of this picture? -- Zoe

That's what I tried out. However, the moment you do so you cannot make out the faces any longer. So I don't think that's preferable. --KF 21:05 Apr 14, 2003 (UTC)

Tonio Selwart...hmmmm....I guess I'll do the honor of writing something about him, if anybody doesn't mind? Longevitymonger

P.S: There are a few other (smaller but clearer) pictures of Haid on the internet, just do a search and find a new one, that what I'd do!

I like the still from Lucrezia Borgia because for me it's so typical of the facial expressions used during the silent era. This is why I decided on it in the first place. I don't see the size problem either: Is it something to do with the time it takes to load the image when one clicks on the Liane Haid page? --KF 18:41 Apr 15, 2003 (UTC)
