Liarea bicarinata is a species of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found near Whangarei in Northland in the North Island.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is an unusually-shaped Liarea, being turbinate, umbilicate, and with the base bicarinate. The peristome is only narrowly flanged, and the hydrophanous colour pattern is of irregular axial streaks of pale yellowish-brown upon a dark reddish-brown base.
Shell height is up to 7 mm, and width up to 5 mm.
