Liam Goldrick is the director of policy for The New Teacher Center, a position he has held since June 2006. [1] [2]

Goldrick served as education policy advisor to Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle from 2004 to 2006 [3], and as a senior policy analyst in the Education Division of the National Governors Association in Washington, DC from 2001 to 2004.[4][5] [6] From 1997 to 2001, he served as executive assistant to Vermont State Auditor Ed Flanagan and from 1995 to 1997 was executive director of the Vermont Democratic Party.

Goldrick graduated magna cum laude from Boston College (B.A., Political Science) in 1993 and with a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1995. He graduated from Essex High School in Essex Junction, Vermont in 1989.

Goldrick resides in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife, Sara Goldrick-Rab, and their son, Conor.
