Talk:Li (Neo-Confucianism)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page was specifically created to clear up the confusion between different characters all called "Li" in Confucianism.
In Chinese language and Confucian philosophy, there is Li, Li, Li and Li... they're all different characters but someone typing Li in Wikipedia will invariably click on the "Li" meaning ritual (which could look like it's related to the Li of principle (理), but it's nothing like it). Someone could also mix of one the Li and think it's the same term for "force" (力), like in modern science.
It's completely different. Me thinks Wiki needs a way of differentiating Li, Li and Li from Li.
